Excellent experience with this company (private tour and transfer service) We booked a private tour with Calli and Stelios was the perfect tour guide. He knew pretty much everything there was to know about Greece and he was extremely personable. I am very glad we booked with this company and I would most definitely do it again. I can prove it. The next morning we needed to get to the port and I messaged them and it was very quick and easy to book a ride with them. Wonderful Day in Beautiful Naxos with Amazing Guide Calli is a family business and you can tell the family has a deep history on the island. They have a great pride in their business and that shows through with the care they took in showing us all the great places around the island. Konatantina was our guide. She was amazing. All around the island, everyone knew her and we heard more than once that “she’s the best” from the locals. Having a local show us around made all the difference. We got a rich history of the island and visited some amazing spots across the island. I highly recommend this tour. Well worth the cost. We had an amazing time! "Unforgettable" is the perfect word for this tour. Stelios was the best tour guide, on any tour, we have ever had. He was incredibly knowledgeable, enthusiastic, friendly, and gregarious. He made us feel like long lost friends, and, even as tourists, welcomed to the island. we talked about everything from history to politics to professional basketball. if you want an immersive trip through most of the island, this is your tour. we stopped first at the ruins of a temple and there was a museum on site. Stelios could not go in with us, but told us everything to look for while there. the next stop was the last remaining pottery workshop in Naxos. this was our favorite stop! we spent like $500 on the unique and beautiful, handmade pottery. Seeing the smaller towns and all the scenery, while also going through the mountains on our drives, was incredible, especially with all the information along the way. Lunch was fantastic, authentic, Naxian food. Stelios knew everybody along the way personally, and we felt like we got special treatment because we knew him. A Superb Tour You Must Not Miss In Naxos! If you do just one thing in Naxos, make sure it’s this tour! We went out yesterday and had the most brilliant day from start to finish. We were picked up in a lovely, brand-new 6 seater van that was incredibly comfortable and spotlessly clean, the air conditioning was an absolute godsend! Our driver, Dimitris, was so lovely and an excellent driver on the winding mountain roads that we felt completely relaxed. Our superb guide, Rita, was just the BEST!. She was so lovely and friendly and full of local knowledge, it felt like being shown around by a best friend. We learned so much from her as we explored, including our stops at the ancient temple, the pottery workshop and the olive press museum at Kaloxylos where we could try different olives and oils.A real highlight was visiting the lovely historic village of Chalki, which we learned used to be the island's old capital. These were such beautiful, traditional spots that we simply never would have found on our own. To top off a perfect day, we finished with a superb Naxian meal at a lovely taverna with the most spectacular views. The food was delicious and the scenery stunning. We bought some lovely unique gifts to take home with us. We had a fantastic time, learned a huge amount about the island, and would highly recommend this tour to anyone. BOOK IT! To say that this was the highlight of our trip would be a huge understatement. Our guide was not only extremely knowledgeable, but he was also kind, funny, and great company. We learned so much about Naxos, got to eat some incredible food, visited beautiful sites we wouldn't have heard about, and met a ton of lovely local folks along the way. Best Tour of Naxos. Fantastic Guide. Immersive & Educational Stelios is incredible. This tour was exactly what we wanted. My kids & parents loved it, I loved it. I often don’t do tours because I detest feeling touristy. I seek out personal recommendations and look for authentic experiences. A friend insisted we do this tour bc she had gone w her family last year. I’m so glad I took her advice. My kids all learned things in a fun way that didn’t feel touristy or sterile. Perfect Tour Our group of four was give a fantastic tour by Valeria, whose knowledge of her beloved Naxos gave us a wonderful introduction to the island. We had ample time at all the stops during the tour and enjoyed each one. Our walk and lunch in beautiful Apeiranthos was very memorable. Incredible, fun and informative tour! Wow! We weren’t sure what to expect of this tour, but it was phenomenal! Our tour guide Konstantina was amazing. Besides being warm and friendly, she had an incredible amount of knowledge of the island, it’s history and all of the places that we visited. The tour includes several stops to different villages. These are places that we would not have been able to visit on our own most likely. Her commentary and expertise were well appreciated throughout. We got to see lots of local artisans such as a potter, a distiller and olive oil manufacturing. It was incredibly informative and fun to taste the different products of the island. Unforgettable Day on Unforgettable Naxos Tour We had an Unforgettable Day with Konstantina on the tour Unforgettable Naxos. It was a busy day filled with visits to fascinating sites and lovely villages. All along the way, Konstantina was generous in sharing information about life, history and culture on Naxos. It is a beautiful island, especially when you get to see some of the interior. The pace was just right, busy but not rushed. The car was very comfortable. Each stop … the pottery workshop, the distillery, the olive oil tasting and tour … involved extensive presentations. The villages were charming, each with the different character. A spontaneous addition to the tour, and a real highlight, was the chance to talk with an Orthodox priest about the ikons in his small church. Before the scenic drive back, the tour concluded with a delicious, traditional lunch at a taverna in the mountain village of Apeiranthos. Awesome Village Tour Our group of 4 ladies had a fabulous time with Stelios as our tour guide. He is very passionate about sharing his knowledge of Naxos and its history. Stelios is very friendly and personable and relayed lots of interesting stories. All the stops we made were educational and fun; Stelios adjusted our stays based on our interest and the whole day felt custom made for us. He has great relationships with the artisans and shopkeepers we met and they shared his enthusiasm in explaining their tradecraft. Exceptional Transportation and Tour Services During our four days on Naxos Island, our family used Calli’s transportation services multiple times including transport from the airport to the hotel, and transportation to and from one of the beautiful island beaches. It was very easy to make the necessary arrangement with Calli team. The drivers arrived on schedule and the vehicles were spacious and well-maintained. Our group of six had no problems fitting all our luggage into the van and the comfortable ride was very much appreciated after our 24+ hour travel day from the US. In addition to transportation services, we also booked the 6-hour private tour with lunch. Our guide, Stelios was knowledgeable and an incredible storyteller. He shared insights and anecdotes that brought Naxos’ history and culture to life. One of our favorite stops was the visiting the local pottery shop tucked away in one of the villages. We spent a lot of time choosing the pieces we wanted to bring home as unique, handcrafted souvenirs. We never felt rushed, Stelios gave us all the time we needed. The tour concluded with an incredible lunch that far exceeded my expectations. We ate at a very charming local tavern that served authentic Greek dishes. I can confidently say it was some of the best food we had on the island. The lunch was the perfect way to wrap up a day filled with exploration and discovery. Perfect Day in Naxos! We did a Naxos private full day tour and our airport transfers with Calli Exceptional Tours. They were outstanding! The communication was excellent throughout and their vehicles were new and clean. Stelios was our tour guide and did a great job informing us of Naxos’ history and hidden treasures. My husband’s grandfather was born in Komiaki so Stelios brought us to this beautiful mountain village, where he also had family. We met the locals and enjoyed a home cook meal. It was beyond special. Favorite Greece Tour We took an 8 hour private tour that included food, drinks and lunch and it was our favorite tour that we had while we were in Greece. We had so much to eat and drink that there was no need for dinner that night! We were able to try different dishes that we wouldn't have tried on our own and ate in local restaurants. My partner David & I have been on a lot of private and semi-private tours around the world and our full day with Stelios from Calle Transfer is by far the best we’ve had! Stelios took great care of us from pick up to drop off. Having grown up on Naxos, he had so much knowledge about the history and culture of Naxos, we could not get enough of his stories and soaked up all the information. He was engaging, funny, took the time to answer all of our questions & explain everything and was always respectful of our needs & not rushing us. From smooth pickup at our hotel in a clean luxurious vehicle to an amazing drive through the heartland of Naxos to the Temple of Demeter (love the history and architecture) to a nearby pottery workshop (the last remaining in the area, with some very unique items for purchase), to the very charming village of Chalki and a tour and tasting at the Kitron distillery (had to buy some!) to the tiny village of Filotti and a delicious olive oil tasting (also had to buy some!) and then finally to a delicious lunch at his favorite taverna in Apeiranthos where Stelios picked some of his go to items (delicious, of course). Finishing off with a delightful ride back home and a few stops for vista point photos of Naxos, it was an amazing day. Ten Stars If possible I would give this tour 10 stars. Everything I expected and more. Our guide Konstantina was wonderful. So personable, witty, knowledgeable, everything you would want in a tour guide. She made us feel truly welcomed to this beautiful island.Great variety of stops to experience local history and culture away from the beaches. Each had something special to see and/or taste- I loved every one. Konstantina ordered a fabulous lunch for us to enjoy a variety of local specialties. Since I have several food allergies including tomato and eggplant (and as you can imagine, in Greece this can be tricky) I was particularly grateful for her skill in that regard!It was also nice that the tour included admission at the various stops and the lunch, so there was no standing in lines for that. Naxos wonders on Easter Saturday 2025 Calli tour owner Konstantina and driver Dimitri were fantastic. We visited several historic sites, several small villages, many churches, a distillery, olive oil mill Ergostasio, as well enjoyed a fantastic lunch at Auoopyivo's of too many delicious Greek regional dishes to finish! Extremely Worth It on Naxos! Our tour guide was amazing. We went to Chalki village, Apeiranthos village (lunch food was excellent), and we visited the Kitron distillery (more interesting and worth it than I imagined), the car was super clean and comfy and luxurious, water was provided, we went to the Temple of Demeter (built 100 years before the Parthenon and the earlier model for it, not to be missed), and Stelios was cool and suuuuper knowledgeable! Dont go anywhere else One of the best transfer services that we have used. From the moment I booked using their online platform onwards they were amazing.I made changes via WhatsApp and it all worked out perfectly.Mano was waiting at Naxos port with out names on a board making it easy once getting off the ferry.On the drive in (very comfortable and AIR CONDITIONED van) he gave us recommendations for everything from restaurants to ice cream shops to beaches. Truly EXCEPTIONAL! We were three couples from the US visiting Naxos for three days and we depended on Calli for transportation from arrival by ferry at the port to our departure by air, with severalpickups for meals and activities in between. We stayed on Plaka Beach and are so thrilled that we booked Calli rather than renting a vehicle. Each driver was friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, and highly professional. Even when we had some last minute changes to our schedule, Calli went above and beyond to take care of us. We really appreciated their flexibility and their assistance with our plans. Super clean and fresh vehicles and every pick up was flawless and on time. Each driver was so much more than a driver! Really awesome to have local folks who know the roads, the villages, and the people!  We also booked a five hour tour of the island, customized to include lunch at an amazing restaurant perched high on a mountain. The tour was so enjoyable for all of us and our guide Stelios was simply incredible! So much to explore on Naxos and so much history to learn. Stelios was just a wonderful guide who felt more like a friend. His and his family’s deep roots on the island gave him such a unique perspective and we loved every moment of our tour. Terrific value, too. Nicoletta was so responsive and helpful as we were making our plans and setting an itinerary, Kudos to her for giving us peace of mind as first time visitors to Greece. Naxos Day Out We did a 6 hour tour of Naxos with lunch for myself and 3 adult daughters. It was the best day. The host/driver was fantastic. So friendly and knowledgeable and we learnt so much about Naxos. So much history and interesting information. And awesome places, bakery, Olive oil production, pottery and much more. We felt like we were visiting family with all the places we went to. Lunch was delicious. We all had a great time and it didn’t seem like 6 hours. Would 100% recommend this tour. Really fun/worthwhile experience! Guides were great! My friends and I absolutely adored this tour! The guides were so friendly and helpful! We saw so much more of the island than we would have been able to otherwise, learned some fun facts/history about the area, and got to try some wonderful local foods. The guides fit in so much and yet it didn't feel rushed at all! They even suggested some other restaurants near our accommodation to try, and the ones we tried were great! Pleasant, knowledgeable and attentive guide! We have visited Naxos many times, and rented a car to drive around the island. This time we want to learn more about the history and culture. Our wishes were fulfilled. We were driven safely to all the small towns by a pleasant, knowledgeable and committed guide. He was really good at conveying both history and mythology, so that it was both exciting and interesting to listen to. We visited the places that were planned, and there were also our own guides. We think it was a good combination of different experiences. The lunch we ate was first class! Pleasant and informative tour of Naxos What a fabulous way to see the inner island & villages of Naxos! Stelios was a safe, polite, and professional driver. The vehicle we had was a very comfortable and clean van. The ABSOLUTE BEST tour in Naxos!! Private tours are the way to go - don't miss out on this experience! Stelios was our driver and guide for the 6-hour tour, and it was hands down the absolute best tour I've ever been on in a foreign country. He is such a wonderful storyteller, excellent driver and was ready with answers to all of our questions whether it was about history, family dynamics or home cooking! He was more than willing to accommodate our preferences throughout the day (we opted to skip the pottery workshop because our group had already visited there) and joined us for a STUNNING lunch just before sunset at Rotonda Restaurant. You can tell the locals love and respect him and at each location we were welcomed with open arms. DO NOT skip Kaloxylos or Apeiranthos Village on the itinerary. They are both lifechanging! Kaloxylos was so peaceful, and it felt like we were the only people in the village! The olive oil was some of the best I've ever tasted and make sure you don't cut your time short to experience the magic of Apeiranthos. Stelios will take you to the center of town where you can feel its spirit moving through the trees. So moving and breathtaking - just overwhelmingly beautiful!! Worth Every Penny! Stelios was a wonderful and knowledgable guide, and going around the island with him was a great way to spend our last full day on Naxos. He took us up into the coolest mountain villages where we wouldn't have been able to explore on our own without renting a car. The olive oil press and tasting as well as the Kitron tastings and distillery were very personal in such a small group setting. The lunch that we had in the village of Aperianthos was delicious, and the town is adorable! The experience was just great from start to finish. Exceptional Service!! The service from Calli was truly EXCEPTIONAL!!!! Konstantina, Manolis, and Stelios went above and beyond. Konstantina is an absolute gem, and I'm so happy to have found her. She arranged so many of our transfers while being in Naxos. She was always very responsive, and the cars were always there on time when we needed them. Manolis and Stelios were able to share their knowledge of Naxos and made great recommendations. Konstantina was even able to help me with a recommendation while visiting another island. An incredible day My family and I went to Naxos for vacation. Taking a tour with Konstantina and Stelios was one of our best choices. We were guided to the most popular villages of the island and we tried traditional products. Most importantly, they also provided us with baby seats for our little one.
